OK, so I would love to say that I am one of those glass half full people but the economy has me a bit scared. The outlook of the real world of those of us who work hard the back bone of the American workforce seems to be the ones who get hit the hardest. At this point not only have we been hit but it is slow crawls for us to climb back on are feet. Friday nights S&P downgraded of the US credit rating from an AAA to an AA+ might just affect the work force that has already been hard.
At this time about 13.9 million Americans are unemployed with 44.4% of these have been unemployed for more then 6 months. Makes me very thankful at this time for my paycheck and after bills, and clearing as much debt as possible I will be attempting to save more. Its going to take a lot for me to make a major purchase out of the simple fear that jobs are scarce and company’s are still reducing staff to help with there bottom line. The fact that times are hard becomes reality when it comes homes with friends and family. Its time for the hard working class to take stock of there families financial future and if you do have a little extra cash and are brave, know the market it maybe time to pick up some of this stock that is being sold like it is a fire sale.
