Jackson Ripley from they Eyes of a Child
Taken from Huffington Post Article http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/18/jackson-ripley-12-year-ol_n_1892456.html
Dear Governor Romney,
Dear Governor Romney,
I’d like to say congratulations on winning the republican nomination. But, I wish you stayed in Massachusetts. You’re plan for America isn’t what we need, and would hurt us more than it would help.
First, repealing Obama care and other health plans he’s put in place have helped families across America, including mine. I live in a middle class family, and two years ago my little sister; Kennedy was denied insurance because of her pre-existing condition. This was a huge emotional stress and financial burden on my entire family. Under Obama Care, insurance companies can no longer deny Kennedy and kids like her, the coverage they need and deserve. Because of Obama care my little sister was able to have the several surgeries she needed that helped save her life. Once the President was elected he put Obama Care into action, just like he promised and made it so that you could get insurance with pre-existing conditions. This has made a direct impact on my family. My family is with out a doubt better off now, than we were four years ago!
It is to my understanding that you stated that you were going to repeal Obama Care, including the part I have mentioned, which will take away the insurance we have and need for my sister Kennedy. Why do you think she doesn’t deserve health care? Also, when you were interviewed on “Meet the Press”, you stated that you would NOT repeal this part of Obama Care, but then your campaign backpedalled and on the “Tonight show with Jay Leno”, you said that you WOULD repeal this.
Also, you’re domestic plans (birth control, gay rights etc.) are horrible! Women should get to manage their own health, and if you wonder why you’re not appealing to many women voters, rethink your birth control and women’s’ rights plans. And people should be able to marry whom they want. We built this country so people could have freedom, and not have religious beliefs control them to that length. This country was in no way built on any religion, so we should not create laws that repress the American people in a religious way and hurt our most vulnerable.
Sincerely,
Jackson Ripley, age 12

Barbra Streisand on Voting November 6th
I love Barbra Streisand because she is a Jewish girl from Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY. Up the so call hill from were I grew up and a few stops on the train. She made it up and out of Brooklyn while trail blazing her voice, style and know giving her views on who we should vote for November 6th. It sure is not the flip flopping of the Republicans. She is giving voice to the middle class and those in need of helping to move up. Take the time to read Barbra give an amazing argument in the Huffington Post http://www.huffingtonpost.com/barbra-streisand/obama-vs-romney-a-clear-c_b_1894001.html.

New Moon Album Review
With the end of summer approaching quickly the Destruction of Glitter would like to take the opportunity to review 6 albums that were recently released. In no particular order below are albums currently available for purchase at participating retailers worldwide along with iTunes and Google Music.
Trey Songz
Chapter V
August 27, 2012
Well let me start off by saying this album had the potential to have picked up where "Ready (2009)" left off (key word potential). With XXX lyrics and a slew of collaboration Trey definitely aimed to please. One song that stands out most is "Simply Amazing" only because the vibe reminds me of a previous track "Already Taken (2010)" (not content wise) the single has a pop feel to it; however, the track lacks luster. For the older crowd like myself who seek music with substance Trigga caters to us on "Pretty Girls Lie" with lyrics like: "Blinded by an angel's face. It's the sweetest poison. One kiss and now you got the venom in your veins. Believing everything her lips say...". Consider "2 Reasons" the after party to "Say Ahh (2009)" and jam it on your way to the club-- oh and please drink responsibly.
Dj Khaled
Kiss The Ring
Kiss The Ring
First things first as Meek Mill (on "Shout Out To The Real"), and Lil Wayne (on "Bitches & Bottles") stated: Free-- Lil Boosie! Now with Future starting the track ("Bitches & Bottles") with "Turn Up, Turn It Up.... Bitches & Bottles AYE" you can't help but throw some (el)bows. No? Maybe it's just me and my love for Trap Music. This album to date has made me excited for Hip Hop again, and the different levels that have evolved since: Slick Rick, Tupac, Biggie, DMX, Ja Rule, and many more. Khaled, has really evolved since "Listennn.... The Album (2006)", and catered to rap this go round because he executed well calibrated artist(s), collaborations/features, and aligned the two with excellent beats! Standing ovation!
Based On A T.R.U Story
2 Chainz aspires me to become a rapper. He truly makes the craft look easy. Even with A list features I still ended up loosing 10% of my brain cells I acquired in College. None the less there are those beautiful moments where my head did nod to the lyrics: "Ya’ll been together ten years, you deserve a ménage, ‘Specially if you put that BMW in the garage, ‘Specially if you paid a couple payments on her mamma crib..." -Kanye West.
Fortune
Blond hair, tattoos, nose ring, and the best dance moves Chris appears to have it all. Than what the heck happen on this album, Breezy? I will say this much the album showcased his versatility. From R&B, Calypso, Hip Hop, Pop the album appealed to all genres. Chris had an all star collaboration line up: Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Nas and more. I can't wait to see him put all his talents into perspective in "Battle Of The Year (2013)" on the big screen.
Emeli Sande
Our Version Of Events
When no matter what you do it's never good enough.
Where has such a gem been hiding? No idea but I am glad I found her now. She plays amazing montage to singers such as: Aretha Franklin, Donna Summers, Lauren Hill and more. Within the second song I realize the entire album was a montage on my life.” When you never thought that it could ever get this tough. That’s when you feel my kind of love. And when you're crying out...", "My Kind Of Love" expresses the casual argument that causes doors to be slam, and calls to be forward. Pour yourself a glass of Remy Martin and grab a seat and enjoy "Suitcase" "...My baby's got a suitcase. He's telling me it’s too late. But don't nobody, please don't ask me why..."
Rebecca Ferguson
Heaven
December 05, 2011
I finally know what an Angel sounds like. Three minutes into this album I realize Ms. Ferguson has true talent that is equivalent to Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Etta James and others who have graciously paved the way. For those of us who have turned our phones over a million times in anticipation that we missed a call, text massage, e-mail from the one we loved... Ha, Caroline captures this so sweetly on: "To Good Too Loose": "When you’re waiting for a train, When nothing’s exciting you, I’m probably thinking about you then".
