One studio album shy from having pumped out 10 studio albums; however, Mary is giving us straight hits until than! She has come a long way from “What’s the 411?”, and in the introductory of the album Diddy and her let’s listeners know this. “Bad Boys aint no good | Good boys’ aint no fun | Lord knows that I should run off with the right one...” (Mr. Wrong). Though the album is geared towards R&B I find the album to be adult/contemporary. MJB talks about love, relationship problems, trials & tribulations, and falling in love all over again. Best-Bet Picks: “Aint Nobody”, “Next Level”, and “Mr. Wrong”.

Rihanna | Talk That Talk (11/18/2011)

Ri-Ri’s mother definitely needs to wash her daughter’s mouth out with soap; on this album. I love her sailor mouth and the fact that she didn’t hold back and pushed her racy style to the limit! The electro-trance/pop beats brings me back to her third studio album that has a feel of “Please Don’t Stop The Music” (Good Girl Gone Bad | May 2007) one quickly forgets that was the same artist. However; with catchy phrases such as: “Cake, Cake, Cake, Imma make you my B!tch..” None the less this is by far one of my favorite albums this year. Best-Bet Picks: “Birthday Cake”, “You Da One”, “Cockiness (Love It)”, “Talk That Talk”, and “We Found Love”.

“I’m talking stunting, pushing buttons, hear that engine stars | I got you falling deep in love girl | I’m the King of Hearts…” (It’s All On Me). With such smooth lyrics and outstanding beats Open Invitation is definitely easy on the ears. The Price of Health

OK, I'll admit it I am an LZ Granderson groupie the man has a way with words and most likely hits a nerve every once in a while! His latest commentary "Don’t Repeal Americans’ Health Care Lifeline", discusses the collation between being poor/middle classes and health care bills that can destroy a person's financial expenses. Trust I know from experience of attempting to keep a child healthy by paying doctors bills and medicine to keep them alive. While still keeping a roof, food, cloths and paying after school to watch your children till you get out of work at five. Yes, it is a balancing act and it seems the GOP either doesn’t understand or really doesn’t care as LZ stated: "they have a nice health care plan well we all deserve the same". What part of an American health care system is not understandable for the voting population? “No country can be strong whose people are poor and sick.”- Former President Theodore Roosevelt stated. We all need to keep in mind before we enter into that voting booth in 2012 that a healthy person helps to make a stronger U.S. better yet please, don’t fall to a serious illness it may be a life changer to you and your finances.

The protestors that are participating in Occupy Wall Street are exercising their freedom of speech right that our fore fathers granted all individuals. Daily non violent protestors are being peppered spray, arrested and have fallen victim to officers using aggressive/forceful methods against marchers. How much of our tax payer dollars has gone to OWS? Whatever the estimate, it hasn’t held such a burden where it has..

1. Prevented Librarians, Teachers, Police Officers, and United States Post Service Works to be unemployed.
2. Voided government officals from providing HUD homes, Welfare, FoodStamps (EBT), Unemployment, Medicare/Medicaid to citizens needing benefits.
3. Withheld roads, highways, bridges to be upgraded/ general maintenance to be performed.
4. Or arverted financial aid or grant assistance to students.

I so love Chrissy it just something about that woman that I really like.  It seems when she loves and cares about someone she will protect them. I like that trait in her which at times may lead you directly into the flames. The most touching scene so far to me is when Chrissy apologized to Emily about her brawl at her Emancipation Party from the previous episode.  I have been there done the crazy over protective act and after taking the time too  cool off look at how I could have handled the situation differently then apologize after. My heart actually goes out to Emily because it is crazy that you just can not help who you love. The worse part is you sure enough can not control how that other person feels about you and what they do with their life.  Hopefully this season she will learn to just stand on her own feet and do things just to make herself and child happy. I still think Chrissy needs an outlet she would be excellent at boxing because as she said she has great aim.

Help Children Suffering from Sexual Abuse

An amazing article on CNN grabbed my attention “Men dare to share sex abuse stories” it is hard to carry such, shame, pain and anger within you all the time. The fact that they are sharing there pain and letting it out will help to easy the burden of carry such painful experience. It is unbelievable how much adults across color lines, social economics and culture take advantage of young people. Unwanted attention, touching and inappropriate sexual material being pushed on young people. It seems that those who are sexually abused at a young age deal with it differently some relegate it to the back of there minds and when such story’s like Penn State come out bubbles to the surface.

Some sooth the pain with alcohol, or other substances, walking many different dangers lines like promiscuous and finding ways to hurt them. Sexual abuse is hard to deal with and even harder for men. Who most are raise to be strong, manly protectors but were the protection from the monsters who prey on young people. More light need to be shined on this situation, along with time and d money to help young people deal with sexual abuse. An amazing twelve year old boy shared how he found the courage to tell his mother about his abuse "If something bad happens to you and the person tells you not to tell, you should definitely tell right away. Tell a parent or the cops. Tell somebody.₁" http://www.childhelp.org/pages/help-for-kids  There is no need for men or any person to be ashamed of being abused that disgrace lays sole at the feet of the abusers and those who know and keep silent. Its way past time that we protect young people from such harm.

·         It's not your fault that you are being treated this way.

·         It is wrong that you are suffering this pain, fear or sadness.

·         You are not alone. Other kids suffer abuse, too.

·         Sometimes abusers scare or threaten kids so they won't tell.

·         There are people who care about you and want to help you.

·         If you are being abused, please tell a safe person - that's someone you can trust like a teacher, counselor, school nurse, neighbor or parent. You can also talk to a Childhelp USA hotline counselor.

CALL 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453) then push 1 to talk to a hotline counselor. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The hotline counselors work with translators who speak 140 languages to help people who call and speak something other than English. All calls are anonymous. (The hotline counselors don't know who you are and you don't have to tell them.)

80 year old Regis Philbin yesterday morning said to America farewell to “Live! With Regis and Kelly”.  After 28 years of morning Co-host, entertainer, interviewer and most of all iconic! He is retiring from the morning show but will always entertain! The talk show landscape is certainly changing I can not wait to see what a new generation brings.

Taylor Swift Speak Now

I had the opportunity to experience Taylor Swifts concert Speak Now. I am not very familiar with her or her music even though I have heard a few of her songs while turning the radio dial. The young lady is extremely talented song writer, singer and musician while being true to herself. Shows her fans so much love with no fear of getting close to them while handing out quite a few hand shakes and hugs!

A very talented musician Taylor Swift plays the piano, banjo, yuka lal, and guitar which she started playing at twelve. Her set was amazing, excellent band and great background dancers which helped to artistically bring her theme to life. It was a very romantic fairy tail story like which was very appropriate for her age demographic. She may have not made a fan of me but Tay Tay so impressed me with what she brings so much positivity to young girls plus the girl Rocks!

Insult to injury! Penn State is establishing “A Fund For Inevitable Civil Lawsuits” for the victims. Money doesn’t equate to justice! This situation just keeps getting muddier each day. The people who will be affected for life are the young people that were victims in this situation. Money may not equate justice but hopefully it will help them receive the counseling that they will need to face a brighter future with fewer monsters in the closet.

Drake | Take Care (11/15/2011)

One of the most anticipated album this year - - to me anyway. The good boy gone bad! He brags about how may stripper’s college tuition he has paid for moreover being the king of his city and the ladies that he has drove to be alcoholics. The young man did not disappoint on his sophomore album the original release was set for 10/25/2011 (leaked online 11/07/2011 a week before it's set date) but decided to push the album back until sample songs were issued clearance with the original artist. T-pain made auto tune famous but Drake’s version of using the idea brings this style to a new level, and he does this well I must add! Ja-Rule played with the idea of meshing singing and rapping but Drake has mastered the mix. Best-Bet Picks: “Make Me Proud”, “Crew Love”, “Take Care” and “The Moto”.

Wale | Ambition (11/01/2011)

“...insecure, she got baby mama flaws… nothing is perfect”. The word play on Wale’s album is as sophisticated as a Yale graduate but as subtle as today’s current rappers! “The term “everyone and their mama” I think is suitable for the features/collaboration on this album are: J. Cole, Rick Ross, Miguel, Lloyd and many more. The methodic tunes and beats make this an easy CD to pop in and let play track after track. J. Cole | Cole World: The Sideline Story (09/27/2011)

“Mr. Nice Watch” featuring Jay-Z is hands down my favorite track on this album it reminds me of “Big Pimpin” it also has a “New York Flare”, that sounds absolutely astounding in my automobile! However besides talking about his female companions the gentlemen talks about his past struggles and his future attributes. Cole speaks on abortion, and men needing to be active and present in their child’s lives. Best-Bet Picks: “God’s Gift”, “Work Out”, “Lost One”, and “Breakdown”.
