He is not only tall, dark, and handsome-- he can sing too! Tank delivered on his 5th studio album. His sultry voice compliments each song like butter on fresh out the stove corn bread. Enticing lyrics (“… words can’t describe you but let me remind you”-- “Compliments”), ridiculous beats he could do no wrong! Best Bet Picks: “Lonely”, “Compliments”, “No Where”, and “Next Breath”.

All hail the Queen-- Nicki that is, with song titles such as: 'I am your leader", to call the majesty anything else would be unchained! The album is like mixtape ("Beez in The Trap") meet pop ("Starship"). A great strategy no doubt by pleasing all fans-- she catered to both. With an All Star artist (Meek Mill, Stalley, Wale, Omarion, Triple C, & French Montana) line up MMG, is truly becoming untouchable empire. Ross and his band mates delivered a gritty (...this ----- done brought me a Rolex, & I still aint got no time for her…” –Meek Mill; “These ----“) , radio tracks (“Bag of Money”), trap music (“Power Circle”), and club bangers (“Let’s Talk”). Unfortunately, the album left me wondering: "Is that it?" Think the album could have offered more anthems like volume 1 catered to (“Tupac Back”, “Imma Boss”). If Rozay, & Meek Mills album (both scheduled to drop later on this year) are a representation of what was released, in Self Made I will truly be devastated. Best Bet Picks: “Black on Black”, “Let’s Talk”, “Bag of Money”, “These ----“, and “Power Circle”.

Of course, we had to save the best for last! Do you get that feeling when you bite into a York Peppermint Pattie and your overwhelmed sweetness? Well this album was refreshing in the same manner. From begin to end the album seemed to have me a trance, in awe, captivated, and memorized! Best Bet Picks: “Pyramids”, “Thinkin’ Bout You”, “White”, “Golden Girl (Bonus/Deluxe Track | Physical Edition)”, and “Pink Matter”.
