I am beyond devastated that Whitney Houston has passed. It boggled my mind when I heard it this evening from several sources that she had pasted. In Middle School Whitney Houston was introduce to us with her song “Greatest Love of All” I think ever young person wanted to find that strength within us to leave the hood behind. When I think of Whitney I think of the Bodyguard the movie the music the beauty that she was in that movie. Just an amazing Diva with pipes unlike any other, charisma, and style! I am very saddened by her sudden death and as I watch her video for “I Will Always Love You” it brought tears to my eyes. I feel for her family, friends and love ones at a death that seem to come out of no where. Whitney battled some demons in the true Musical sense of old Blues, R&B and Rock & Roll style. Leaving an amazing body of work and millions of fans like me a bit devastated by her early death.
