It seems that Summer is planned to start June 20th on the calendar. The weather in my par of the Country has been cloudy, grey and wet since Spring Touched down. We have seen sporadic bits of sun and dry days which always seem to end in rain. Perhaps it’s this grayness that has me looking for rays of sun shine coming through my headphones daily.
I am enjoying an amazing artist who Luther Vandross who passed July 1, 2005. His amazing voice, talent and watch and old clip of his performances as he commanded the stage while thrilling the audience you have got to listen and love it. It is just timeless music and makes you smile at some of his lyrics on love a great balladeer at his best.
MC one of my favorite diva’s Mariah Carey one of the ultimate girlie girl to blow on a Mic. If I want to feel girlie, light pink cotton candy and just smile I will put on some Mariah Carey and it turns those grey skies blue. Love her plus Mariah Carey can sing! Her music always makes me want to dance if it is one of her up-tempo numbers plus she loves good rap collaboration.
One of my favorite singers is Rita Ora she is just pure fun and I love it. Summer time is meant for fun, party’s and drinks and that is what Rita Ora deliver’s with amazing rock star style. She defiantly get’s any party started with her fun filled music. Bring on the fun bring on Summer because Rita Ora brings it!
Emeli Sande WOW this women has an amazing voice, classic style and rocks. Her music shows that a beautiful voice is way better then auto tuned anything. She is pure talent that has not seen the day of light yet but she will!
Honorable mentions that I am rocking to anything with 2 Chainz, Nicki M and Wiz Kalifh not sure why but they just make everything summer fun!
