Happy 2012: Album Review

“Hold Up, Hold Up, Hold Up…” Kanye West Marvin & Chardonnay” (Finally Famous | 2011) Young Jeezy, Anthony Hamilton, and Robin Thicke all delivered albums that are Smack Ya Mama Good, no pun intended. If you haven't purchased your copy please do so immediately!

Young Jeezy | Thug Motivation 103: Hustlez Ambition (12/20/2011)

Welcome back Mr. Snowman, it’s been four long anticipating years-- but well worth it! A jam packed album with more features than a little bit: Jadakiss, 2 Chainz, Future, Andre 3000, Trick Daddy and more. He delivers the gospel for the streets in a way only a thug can narrate. TM 103 did not disappoint, and furthermore; was a great treat for loyal fans, such as myself!  Best-Bet Picks: “OJ”, “F.A.M.E”, “SupaFreak”, “I Do”, and “Leave You Alone”.

Anthony Hamilton | Back To Love (12/13/2011)

Mr. Hamilton is bringing SEXY BACK! I happened to see this smooth cat on tour earlier last month and he is definitely a force to be reckoned with. The album has a sophisticated, soulful, and has an easy appeal that you can let play with your windows down and just ride. If not two-step to it next time you’re out and about on your iPod. Mr. Hamilton represents the South (North Carolina to be exact) and you can definitely hear the southern twang on his tracks-- and I love it! Best-Bet Picks: Woo”, “Mad”, and “Never Let Go”,

Robin Thicke | Love After War (12/06/2011)

The return of music with S-O-U-L! To be honest Mr. Thicke channeled in Motown, Jazz, Doo-Whop, and early 1900s. To be honest, I feel that Robin has matured and evolved as an artist, as well as found his lane (musical genre) and experiencing with different sounds on his fourth studio album. Best-Bet Picks: “An Angel on Each Arm.”, “I’m An Animal”, “Love After War”, “What Would I Be?”, and “Tear On My Tuxedo”.
