Today is the day that North Caroline will be voting in the primary election. My voter registration card is tucked in my bag along with my one form of identification just in case. I want to be prepared just in case! I am going to vote against the referendum to ban same-sex marriage! Honestly in my heart I know that North Caroline is not a state that is ready to accept same-sex marriage since they already have in place a law that bans it. Still I want to support same sex marriage and hopefully my vote might make a difference. If this referendum is past it will place women in jeopardy in cases of domestic violence and affect health care for same-sex couples.
