Coba a Mayan Site

There are amazing sites in this world just wonders of the strength of people. The Ruins of Coba in Mexico is one of those wonders left behind by the Maya civilization a city of the Pre-Columbian Maya civilization. That has quite a few large structures that are covered within the jungle. It’s an amazing site that has not quite been touched by the outside world. Looking like what it might have been when the Mayans ruled the area.

Walking through the lush jungle it is very calming to look at the trees and few butterflies’s flying by. Trust lots of bugs still inhabit Coba along with the ruins and a very impressive Mayan ball court. It’s as if you have stepped back in time Coba is a ruin that has not been full restored so you get to see how it may have been during the Mayan civilizations prominent time. Once you have made your way to the pyramid amongst the trees its amazing to see how high it truly stands.

I am still amazed that this was created by an ancient civilization. I was just awed by the structure it self before and after I climbed the tallest one in Coba it self. There are a few smaller structures still covered by the jungle. Once you have decide to make that climb up there is nothing to do but climb. The stone like structures are not like stairs, not even so you have to make sure that your footing is secure while climbing. Everyone once in a while I had to pull myself up using my hands. It is quite a work out but the view once you have arrived up is amazing!

Looking down from about 138 feet that you climbed up is simply beautiful. One of the most amazing things I have done in my life as I looked down at the tops of the trees and up at the blue sky. I climbed up with no hesitation and no fears I can do anything that I want with out fear. The Mayans have taught me with their beautiful amazing structure to be fearless!
