Memorial Day

Thank you to those who have served and continue to serve this country. To the family’s and friends that are left behind as they protect in the name of freedom. I will like to give a big thank you to my family members who have served in the past and currently serve at this time. You all do an amazing selfless job that we take for granted but I am very thankfully! Happy Memorial Day to all service men and women past and present.

New Face of America

I came across a really good article by Ruben Navarretta on CNN Opinion entitled “Minorities are not looking for ‘payback http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/24/opinion/navarrette-minority-babies/index.html?hpt=hp_bn7’. In the past few years there have been quite a few articles that have dealt with the obvious that the face of American is changing. Its becoming more lively with different shades of color, infusing different cultures and a dash of new traditions to the America of past. The new face of American is out to improve them selves in a country that totes freedom, liberty and the idea of improving themselves and making it. That is the American Dream is it not to make it however you identify that as being.

Happy Birthday to “Brooklyn’s Finest The Notorious B.I.G” born on this date May 21, 1972. An amazing talent taken to young and before all of his true talent could come to light. B.I.G music is still excellent to listen to 15 years after his death. Take the time and go down memory lane listening to “Real Love” the remix with B.I.G on Mary J. Blidge’s single or one of my personal favorites “Dolly My Baby” on Super Cat’s single. Listen to “Juicy”, “Big Poppa” or “Ten Crack Commandments” for classic Notorious.
