It is past time that this country discusses some of the issues that continue to plague individuals. Open conversation with young people who will inherit many of the problems that this country faces in regards to stereotype. That seems to leads to bullying, hate and in the end perhaps a tragic death that could have been avoided.

Bully

Open’s up this Friday nationwide a film that discusses the issue that many young people face by pain caused by others. A pain that seem to push its young victims to the emotional extreme and some take their own lives. The film follows five families in four states along with the concept that victims are not alone and that others are going through the same difficulties. This movie hopefully help children going through this pain, hurt, misunderstand and pain of being bullied do to their so call differences by Society realize that they are not alone. We live in a country that is based on freedom but how free are we when color, sexuality, religion, poverty can cause such hate in others when we express our true selves! I feel that this is a movie that young people should see to give hope to those who feel they have non! This hopefully can lead to open conversation between friends, students, school administration, law officials and family's.

it's Spring

Spring has sprung for me it is a time of change. Taking stock of your life, family, and home. Today is the official first day of spring and in me true fashion I am decked out in all black but with a pop of read in my patient loafers. With that being said my creative juices seem to be back and I have penned the following called transition.

spring has renewed

feelings of transition

as warm breezes

caress my skin

i feel a shift

within me take flight

just beyond the horizon

of the setting sun

a new me

will arise in

the AM

a metamorphosis that

only I can accomplish

as I push myself

harder then before

as I focus on

the transition taking

place as life

continues to move

with warmer days

and longer day light

spring brings new hope

to my heart as I change

myself into a

stunning new me

yes the beauty of

spring lies within me

i have sprung
